Dr. Muḥammad Mukhtār Jumaʿa, minister of Endowments [al-Awqāf], decided to give out bonuses of 15,000 Egyptian pounds to every bureau for their extraordinary efforts:
(1) For big bureaus with a larger number of imāms, mosques, and workers at the Ministry of Endowments, 1,500 Egyptian pounds will be set aside for the director of the bureau. The rest will be distributed to the hardest working employees at the bureaus, who are carrying out the instructions according to a report written by the director of the bureau and approved by the head of the religious sector at the Ministry’s general office. The amount of the bonus is 10,000 Egyptian pounds for every bureau.
(2) For smaller bureaus, 1,000 Egyptian pounds will be set aside for the bureau director. The rest will be distributed to the hardest working employees at the bureaus, who are carrying out the instructions according to a report written by the director of the bureau and approved by the head of the religious sector at the Ministry’s general office with a 20,000 Egyptian pound bonus being set aside for the central tracking room at the Ministry’s general office.
