A disciplinary council in the Azhar University headed by Dr. Taha Abu Krasha, the Vice-President of the Azhar University decided to dismiss Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khouli, a professor of rhetoric and [literary] criticism at the Faculty of Arabic Language in the Azhar University, for his objection of the visit of the Jewish rabbi to the Azhar [in reference to the chief rabbi of Israel who visited the sheikh al-Azhar a few years ago].
