The comment of Dr. Yehya Hashem Fargal on the article "Islam’s stand towards Christian and Jewish faith" by Magdy Hussein, chief editor of Al Shaab newspaper, was followed by another comment of General Mohamed Shebl, which was published on April 14th, 2000. The author of the present article made some notes on the second comment such as using only verses from the Qur’an, taking what supported his argument from the verses and cut the rest, and ignoring the circumstances in which these verses were dictated.
