Al-Kosheh is an Egyptian village that was unknown until August 1998. After the recent events in Al-Kosheh, the editor-in-chief of Al-Wafd, Mr. Saad Abdel-Khaleq, asked the government to change the village’s name from Al-Kosheh [which means enmity] to Al-Mahaba [meaning Love]. He also asked businessmen to participate in rebuilding the village. Thanks to the government they responded quickly and changed the name of the village.
