This article deals with patriotic unity. It explains the meaning of "communal strife" [Fitna Ta’ifiyya] and tests the possibility of comparing these meanings with our reality. The term "communal strife" refers to the presence of tension, but does not include the precursors to the situation or the events to come. Therefore, there is a constant unwillingness to explain the events in relation to who or what might be their cause, and so the responsibilities of different parties, executive systems and national groups are ignored.
