The Islamic Research Institute rejected Abdel-Mo’ti Bayoumi’s fatwa permitting a married woman with children to host another couples’ zygote. It drove Prof. Bayoumi to withdraw his opinion for the sake of the integrity of the Muslim nation. Bayoumi said that the topic is still open for discussion and that he did not withdraw from his conviction. He explained that there can be no suspicion of adultery but many other scholars tried to disprove his opinion.
