The court of Cassation postponed

giving its opinion concerning the appeals filed against al-Kosheh rulings

by the Prosecutor General and the

four convicted defendants until the session of July 30. The upshot of the report,

the Cassation prosecution

introduced to the court was appealing against the rulings and retrying all the

defendants, except three.

The lawyers of the families of the 21 Copts, who were killed during al-Kosheh riots,

asked the court to

retry the Muslim defendants only and acquit the 39 Christian ones.
