The author interviewed the head of Al-Muharraq monastery who told him the history of this monk within the monastery. He said he was a monk for thirteen years but he was then expelled because he didn’t follow the rules. He was given a second chance in another monastery but he failed to follow the rules and was sent away. He denied claims of any wrongdoing on his part and said that he was unable to help the woman when she complained because the man was no longer a monk.
