The

annual report of the American administration on religious freedom in the world, stressed that the Muslims and

Christians of Egypt are children of one history and civilization. It pointed out that the relationship between

Muslims and Christians in Egypt has always been one of harmony. President Mubarak has taken many decisions that

have helped to consolidate national unity and promote religious tolerance.
