The course of events in the ongoing war exposed the falsity of the American claim that it is not a war against Islam but against terrorism. Afghanistan is targeted by America not because of the attacks of September 11 but because it represents a rebellious Islam. However, putting an end to the Taliban does not mean putting an end to the phenomenon of military resistance to the American-Zionist arrogance, as the Taliban are part of the phenomenon and not the phenomenon itself.
