The Crusades, with all its consequences and impacts, are a stumbling block in the way of the continuation of the relationship between the East and the West. Also associating Islam with terrorism and attacking some Islamic countries, in the name of fighting terrorism, is a cross road in their relationship. Still, there are wise people who realize that cooperation and not conflicts can push humanity forward.
