Many of the traditional icons of the Orthodox Church representing Jesus Christ crucified and the Last Supper have been recently changed. New crucifixion icons show Jesus Christ with nails in his wrists not hands. Judas no longer appears in the new Last Supper icons. The author comments on the theological differences between the old and new icons and the problems the new icons caused in the Orthodox Church
