French researcher Vincent Jesseir published his book "The New Enmity for Islam" as an answer to the fierce movement of enmity for Islam and Muslims. This movement has spread widely in Europe in general and in France in particular after the September 11 events. Many European intellectuals adopt such movement. The article is an overview of the ideas Jesseir expressed in his book. Analyzing the special case of Islam in France, Jesseir concluded that attacking Islam in general prevents people from understating the actual development of terrorism on the international level.
