The Islamic World Association organized a conference titled “International relationships between Islam and Contemporary Civilization.” It condemns the media campaigns some Western organizations launched against Islam. It stresses that resisting occupation is a right guaranteed by religious and international laws and cannot at all be considered a form of terrorism. It expresses concerns concerning the Iraqi crisis, asking international organizations to recommend a peaceful solution.
