For the first time in 27 years, Pope Shenouda III visited the governorates of Upper Egypt, amid warm welcomes from the populace of Upper Egypt, both Muslims and Christians. The Upper Egyptian population gave the image of the cohesive fabric of the nation, which confirms the falsity of rumors [that do ill to national unity].
