Dr. Youssef Al-Qaradawi, head of the World Islamic Council for Fatwa stated that killing American civilians in Iraq is halal [lawful according to Islamic Shari’a]. Sheikh Al-Qaradawi explained that American military men and civilians invaded Iraq to occupy it and exploit its wealth. In order to realize their goals, Americans kill members of Iraqi resistance groups and civilians. At the same time, Al-Qaradawi explained that Islam forbids mutilation of dead bodies.
