The fate of the book

“Mas’ouleyit fashal al-dawla al-Islamiya fil asr Al-hadith”[The responsibility of the failure of

the Islamic State in the contemporary era] written by Gamal Al-Banna is still unclear. Al-Banna

confirmed that the Islamic Research Institute has banned his book while the Azhar denied this.

Al-Banna considered the case not merely a case of banning a book, but also a case that challenges

the way that the Islamic Research Institute works.
