The brutal murder of Husām Armanius and his family has attracted attention in the New York area and beyond.


On January 14, Armanius, his wife Amal Jaras, and their two young daughters, Sylvia, 15, and Monica, 8, were found bound and gagged in their Jersey City home, with their throats slit. There was no sign of forced entry, suggesting that the Armanius family had voluntarily let in their killer or killers.
