The family of the Christian girl who disappeared a few days ago, along with a number of other Christian residents of the Barawah village of Ahnāsyā Center in the governorate of Beni Suef, have threatened to stage a sit-in in opposite the Ahnāsyā police station.

Ishak Ramzī, the girl's father, says the church is not commenting while it awaits the result of police investigations.

The local public attorney's representative has ordered that the youth accused of kidnapping the girl be speedily located and brought in.
