More than 200 lawyers filed a report with the public prosecutor against Counselor Najīb Jabrā’īl Mīkhā’īl, Coptic lawyer and Head of the Egyptian Union for Human Rights Organizations (EUHRO), for his statements on al-Tarīq channel and al-Dustūr, May 8, 2011, where he asked for international interference to protect Egyptian Christians in Egypt.

His words, according to the newspaper, triggered fitnah and jeopardized the national security of the country.
