People’s Assembly member Yāsir al-Qādī submitted a draft on the addition of some articles to the law on sanctity of houses of worship.

“The proposal punishes with three years’ imprisonment and a fine of at least LE10,000 or each of them any person who carried weapons during demonstrations inside house of worship or their courts,” Qādī said on Tuesday (May 22).
