Dr. Safwat al-Bayādī, the head of the Coptic Evangelical Church, said he wishes success for Dr. Mursī and pins high hopes on him to achieve Egyptians’ ambitions for equality, freedom and social justice.

Bayādī called on all churches in Egypt to pray for the new president after he won the first free elections ever in Egypt throughout its history, adding Dr. Mursī has to observe justice for all and learn from the former president’s mistakes.
