Constitution experts said the president of the republic, as a result of the complementary constitutional declaration, will be lacking some powers and competences, suggesting set steps to fine-tune his work as an elected president.
The experts said the president, right after he takes the constitutional oath of office, has to issue a constitutional declaration canceling the previous ones, accelerate the election of a People’s Assembly and finalize accomplishing a new constitution to be drafted by a constituent assembly.
