Bishop Dr. Yūhannā Qultah Sa‘īd, Deputy Patriarch of the Coptic Catholic Church, said that the Coptic citizen came out of his isolation. 

He added that Egypt is the least country that has religious extremism and it is bigger than to contain only one religion or doctrine.

"We were used that fitnah is sparked by personal matters between individuals whether marriage or changing religions, why can't the law of Coptic personal affairs come to light?" said Bishop Yuhanna.

He added that there is no fitnah in Egypt but tension as a result of individual incidents. Through history Egypt never witnessed sectarian war between Muslims and Christians.
