Finally, after being postponed several times, Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II welcomed yesterday (Apr. 21) people who wanted to offer their condolences for the happenings in al-Khusūs. Among the visitors in the Cathedral were the former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Sāmī 'Anān, several former and current ministers, renowned personalities, members of the Egyptian Churches Council as well as representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood (Yūsuf Sha'bān, al-Tahrīr, Apr. 22, p. 6). Read original text in Arabic.
