The Coptic Orthodox Church issued a statement in support of the role played by the armed forces, and paying homage to the promise of Col. Gen. Abdul Fatah al-Sisi (‘Abd al-Fattāh al-Sīsī), Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, and Minister of Defense and Military Production, during his speech two days ago (June 24) ensuring the protection of the Egyptian people.
