Asyut 

Popular Egyptian Democratic Movement has published a statement stating that Asyut, is declining, due to the continuation of pro-Morsi supporters and adherents of political Islam to commit “stupid acts”. Churches became targeted in the almost daily marches. The slogans of these marches were provocative, sectarian and dividing society into Christians and Muslims. One of their slogans is “Boycott the Christians” (Ahmad al-Asyūtī, al-Wafd, Aug. 12, p. 11). This article has no link online.
