A new movie depicting Mary Magdalene and her relationship to Jesus Christ is expected to provoke controversy. The movie is called, “And He Became Human” and Serene ‘Abd al-Nūr (Lebanese actress) is acting in the role of Mary Magdalene. Mary Magdalene is an important female figure in the New Testament as she was a sinful woman and repented.
