Pope Tawadros stated that since June 30^th Egypt is implementing a road-map according to very clear steps. Some of those steps such as drafting a constitution and approving it were implemented. He added that Field Marshal Abd al- Fattah al- Sīsī has widespread popularity as he has ‘saved Egypt.’ He assured that the nomination of al- Sīsī is thus a national duty, as Egyptians see him as a hero of the June 30^th Revolution (Nagwá Bikhiyt, al- Dustūr, March 24, p. 4).
