Pope Tawadros II led the Palm Sunday mass yesterday in the Monastery of Saint Bishoy in Wādī al-Natrūn. Many Bishops and hundreds of Copts attended it.

Hundreds of Copts celebrated Palm Sunday in the Cathedral of Abbāsiyah, amidst intensive security presence. Vendors sold palm leaves at the entrance of the cathedral.

Next Thursday, Pope Tawadros will return to the Cathedral to lead the Easter mass on Saturday evening.
