Walīd al-Bursh the coordinator of the Islamic Tamarud (Rebel) Movement stated that the movement is examining filing a lawsuit to demand the dissolution of the  Construction and Development Party, the political arm of the Islamic Jamā’ah. The decision will be taken in the meeting of the movement next week. He stated that the “party is now opposing article 74 of the new constitution that prohibits any party based on a religious or sectarian basis.” He also added that since the party entered the parliament in the 2011 elections it only submitted a draft law for amnesty for all the crimes committed by the Jamā’ah from October 6^th 1981until November 11,  2011(Hilmī Yāsīn, al- Shurūq, Jan. 23, p. 4).  Read original text in Arabic.
