The director of the Press and Publications Department (PPD) in Jordan decided to form a committee of media personnel, deputies, clerics and members of PPD’s audio/visual censorship department to review its decision to ban the Egyptian film "State Security," from cinemas and video houses because it "contradicts public beliefs and distorts the picture of religion and moral values." The film is "about Muslim militant leaders who claim to be pious whilst in their countries and they change when they are abroad."
