The bishop for youth stressed that the attitude of the police towards those who went onto the streets and tried to cause damage or confront the security was the same in the cases of the Coptic Youths’ demonstration against Al-Nabaa and the Azhar students’ demonstration against the "Banquet for Seaweed." He denied that the Coptic youths shouted for Sharon, adding that very few shouted for America. As for what is said about Muslims and Islam in the churches, he said that the meetings of the church are open to all and that they bring the Coptic youths in a patriotic way, not a sectarian way.
