An Egyptian Christian called Hani Samir Tawfiq is accused of being a member of the Qa´ida network. His mother said that he tried to convert to Islam but men of religion convinced him not to convert. He later joined one of the cells of the Islamic groups and they helped him to travel to Saudi Arabia. There, he joined another group not knowing that it is associated with the Qa´ida. When he knew, he reported the Saudi authorities. When no one listened to him, he resorted to the US embassy there.
