‘Sheikh’ Fahmi Huweidi, says in one of our major newspapers, “All the circumstances indicate

that the Israelis, not the Egyptian economy, are the target [of Taba attacks].” In that case we

have to give up our values and Egyptian human heritage in order to view the killing of Israeli

civilians as a noble honest objective. Even if that ‘noble objective’ took the Egyptian economy

in its way to ruin, it would be a ‘martyr in paradise’ in accordance with the fatwa of the

democratic (Youssef) al-Qaradawi.
