Most churches in al-Minya governorate continued with their extraordinary precautionary measures, which were initiated in the course of June 30's demonstrations.
The churches have suspended its summer activities and postponed a number of meetings.
Church sources said that precautionary measures included reducing its activities. Therefore, a meeting between Archbishop Arsanios and General Bishop Makarios has been broadcasted via the diocese's website in order to provide the Copts with the opportunity to follow-up.
In the same context, many of Minya's Copts complained about the city's situation, that causes suffer for the Copts, as hundreds of supporters of the ousted president are holding sit-ins.
