A group of activists on Facebook created a group supporting Copts against the recent threats made by al-Qā‘idah that target Egyptian churches. The group’s main goal is to bring Muslims and Copts in Egypt together against foreign threats. The group is considered by many of its members to be a good opportunity to showcase Egyptian national unity.
