On March 8 Muhammad al-Barād'ī insisted on keeping the art. 2 of the constitution unchanged. I was horribly disappointed.

When I read al-Qimnī's article [Click here to read al-Qimnī's article] my disappointment turned into fear at what is happening.  I was hoping so much for al-Barādī's leading Egypt out of chaos and I found to my horrors that he was supporting art. 2 unaltered. What a frightening price to pay for peace and tranquility! And yet all what was requested was to alter "the" main source of legislation into "a" main source of legislation of the constitution.
